Burkina Faso: AMPO international e.V.

AMPO international e.V. (“Mama Tenga” – Kathrin Rohde) is an association dedicated among other things to adult education as well as sexual education and awareness training in Burkina Faso. Social workers show films and lead discussion groups in villages scattered around the capital. They answer questions about contraception, family structures, understanding of roles and other topics.

The organization also helps women become self-employed by granting microloans for business start-ups.

Max Brose Hilfe provided AMPO international e.V. with generous support for both projects. This was initiated by executives of the Brose Group.
