Burkina Faso: Project LINDA

The project’s services include finding malnourished children, care in the Linda House, home visits, educational sessions and communal meals. So far, the target group has been within the urban area. Due to the refugee situation, many mothers with severely malnourished children are located on the outskirts of the city or even further afield. This requires a great deal of transport and logistics in addition to the problems of care and the necessary medical assistance.

LINDA House works closely with the social welfare office of the city of Ougadougou and various associations. This ensures that the children’s development is guaranteed even after they are released from the project.
